Mission Work:

Due to our proximity to Papau New Guinea and the contact we have with the missionaries, we would also like to share this information and some links to the mission work in PNG: 

 

At present there are three overseas reformed churches involved in mission activities in PNG. The Canadian Reformed Churches work in Ekoro and the Port Moresby area. The Reformed Churches of New Zealand have a married couple working to assist in Port Moresby. The Free Reformed Churches of Australia work in the Lae area. To give legal support for all kinds of financial transactions and to facilitate the working together of these various bodies towards the establishment of one bond of reformed churches in PNG, an organisation called Reformed Ministries was set up.

 

Several Free Reformed churches in Australia have agreed to join together to effect the Mission effort in Lae, Papua New Guinea.

 

They are:

• Free Reformed Church of Darling Downs, Western Australia

• Free Reformed Church of Southern River, Western Australia

• Free Reformed Church of West Albany, Western Australia

The Free Reformed Church of Armadale, Western Australia was appointed the sending church which calls and appoints workers and generally takes care of the day to day affairs of the work.
